FB Ads Global Media's roots are in performance and affiliate marketing. Back in those days, the internet was the wild, wild west with little guidance and minimal rules and regulations. When we launched our brands, we were forced by the banking system to operate our high-risk products with multiple merchant processing accounts. We have heard horror stories of fellow advertisers losing millions to offshore banks outside U.S. jurisdictions, shady ISOs running off with their money, or large aggregators holding onto their reserves as long as possible. Not only can this rob you of your funds; at best, it severely hinders your cash flow and ability to operate your business.
To help mitigate this, FB Ads Global Media started to build out an internal team responsible for reconciling our processing statements and matching them to our merchant deposits to ensure we were, in fact, receiving all of our money. This system continued to grow, and as FB Ads Global Media slowly moved away from negative option continuity, we are now able to offer these same services in the form of bookkeeping and reconciliations.
